YOUR PAST DOESN’T DICTATE YOUR FUTURE

just because your past was not so good does not mean your future is going to be the same.its all in your hands

Listen up! This is important! Your past will dictate your future only if you let it!

You can challenge the way you think – those thoughts and beliefs that point fingers at you and predict the worst. You can change the way you think about yourself. The scripture talks about “renewing your mind,” (Romans 12: 1-2), of gradually replacing your old negative view of yourself with God’s vision of you and for you. No matter where you’ve been, no matter what you’ve done – you are a valuable person with so much potential stored inside you, it would totally amaze you if you could see it. God has big plans for you. Even if you have made dumb mistakes in the past (who hasn’t?), you can walk more wisely in the future.

You can learn from every experience you’ve had. You can choose to see that events that caused harm…

The Powerful Touch of God’s Love Through You

John 13:35 “By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.”

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think there is one of us who hasn’t worried at one time or another (maybe even multiple times) if someone was thinking, I wonder if anyone things I’m a little weird? Is that word too strong? Okay, how about quirky, a little strange, or cut from another cloth. You get the idea. I think everyone wants to be thought of as normal and okay.

At the same time, how many times have you looked around and thought, that person is weird,  she is really quirky, he’s a little out there if you know what I mean, she has got some major issues, or I’m not sure what planet he’s from.

Learning to Thrive Under Pressure

Timothy Burt

Fresh Manna
by Pastor Tim Burt

As I look over the broad spectrum of everyone I know – my family, my friends, and my large church family, I see in the majority of their lives, stresses, pressures and challenging circumstances facing them. These challenges range from financial situations to relational problems to infirmities and more. It seems as though most people have some type of stressful situation creating pressure going on in their life more often than not.

Whenever we face challenges we face pressure. That pressure can make us feel like a tube of toothpaste being squeezed. When you squeeze a tube of toothpaste, toothpaste comes out. When you crack a nut with a nutcracker, the nut comes out. When pressure is put on us, what’s inside of us comes out. That may be good or bad news!

Early on in my marriage with Renee, immaturity is what was in…

im starting all over.

where do i start?OK.i have had quiet a rough time the past two years, its been up and down, mostly down, but i manage to trust in God,and my faith kept me going all the time.its amazing how a little bit of faith can push you, after you have done all you can,you have no choice but to just stand ,stop everything and listen to what faith has to offer.so i have decided that enough is enough,no more of this life that is not offering me nothing.I’m just going nowhere slowly.I’m taking the first step,i know it’s a long way,but i Will make it.I’m tired of doing things for other people, and start living for myself.making myself  happy.

Time to make me happy.do what I love.

All my life I have been doing things that make people happy, whenever I do something I would think of what people may think, most off all what my family will think and how they will feel, well know it’s time to do things my way and do things that make me happy. After all we only live once.so i am going to do things that I want to do. Enough of other people i want to find out what I can I cannot do. What works for me and what doesn’t work for me.

A planting of the LORD

faith is the only thing that keeps us going.

The [uncompromisingly] righteous shall flourish like the palm tree [be long-lived, stately, upright, useful, and fruitful]; they shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic, stable, durable, and incorruptible].

Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God.

[Growing in grace] they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap [of spiritual vitality] and [rich in the] verdure [of trust, love, and contentment].

[They are living memorials] to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to His promises; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.  Psalm 92:12-15(Amplified)

A planting of the LORD – have you ever considered yourself that? We often don’t think of the weightiness of that statement. That we are chosen and selected and then planted of the LORD as trees planted in the House of GOD. This means…
